Bhapinder brings a strong foundation in social work, with a Bachelor of Social Work earned in England. She has worked extensively in Canada as a social worker and has been supporting families and individuals since 1993, with over 20 years of experience in mental health and counselling roles.

She has supported youth, adults and families in various settings, including through her internship with Child and Youth Mental Health. Her practice is inspired by the courage and transformation she witnesses in her clients daily.

Bhapinder’s collaborative and client-centred approach helps people feel safe and supported as they explore their emotions and work toward personal growth. With deep compassion for people navigating mental health challenges, she draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques. Her work is tailored to meet the unique needs of each of her clients, while fostering a warm and non-judgmental space where change can happen.

Outside of work, Bhapinder enjoys hiking, biking, baking, reading and spending time with her family. She loves trying new recipes and exploring different cuisines.

Fun fact: Bhapinder has completed multiple full marathons.
