Animals
At our clinic, we believe that the presence of a calm, friendly animal can help create a sense of comfort and safety, making it easier for many people to relax and engage in therapy.
Research has shown that interactions with animals can help reduce stress, increase feelings of connection, and support emotional regulation. For some individuals—particularly those experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD,, or autism—working alongside an animal can make the therapeutic environment feel more approachable and supportive.
We understand that every client’s needs and comfort level are unique. Participation in Animal-Assisted Therapy is always optional, and we will work with you to determine whether this approach is a good fit for your care.
