Ari brings a compassionate and client-focused approach to counselling, shaped by her background in journalism, group therapy and behavioural intervention. She has been in the mental health field for almost 2 years and currently supports clients through both private practice and group therapy with Fraser Health.

Ari works with a broad range of clients but has a special interest in supporting children with special needs. She also enjoys working with couples and families to strengthen their communication and connection. Her counselling style is flexible and driven by the individual needs of each client.

Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Ari helps clients move forward in a supportive, non-judgmental space. She finds it deeply rewarding to see her clients make progress toward their goals and is motivated by the growth and resilience she sees in those she works with.

Ari is bilingual in Korean and English, making her services accessible to a wider range of clients.

Fun fact: Ari has three dogs and two cats and swears that pets are like chips: you can’t have just one!
