Charles Maundrell MC, RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Works with: Adults and Seniors
Specialties: Trauma, Anxiety, Grief & Loss

Charles holds a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a diploma in Journalism-Photo Journalism. This unique blend brings a thoughtful balance of empathy and practical insight to his counselling practice.

After two decades in a high-paced sales career, Charles felt called to shift his focus toward work that aligned more deeply with his values. Today, he is dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can find clarity, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves.

He works with adults and seniors navigating a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship patterns. Charles takes a collaborative approach, walking alongside clients as they move through present-day challenges, uncover their limiting beliefs and strengthen their relationships with themselves and with others.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches including mindfulness therapy, attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT) and psychodynamic therapy, Charles offers both in-person sessions and the convenience of virtual sessions as well. He holds the belief that healing begins in an atmosphere of connection and trust.

When not in session, Charles enjoys spending time in nature including hiking and sea kayaking. His love of travel has taken him across the globe, including a three-year chapter living in New Zealand and extended travels throughout Southeast Asia.
